Overseas Travel Advice

Please read the guidelines below and use the link at the bottom to submit your request to Orbit if this has not already been done. Once you have confirmation from the local brethren, please submit details as normal on the main page.

Responsible persons must oversee and take care of any of their local brethren travelling and ensure it is in accordance with the points below raised in previous letters.

• Speak to responsible brothers locally (including at your Supper Meeting) before making any travel arrangements, including airline bookings.
• Overnight stays should be kept to a minimum.
• Wherever possible, it would be preferable to be home at weekends, unless it is for care or medical reasons.
• It is important that we are home for our Care Meeting.
• Young persons should not be travelling without suitable responsible company.
• If it is felt suitable that wives travel with their husband overseas for business, this should be with the prior approval of the local brethren.
